Whatever I’m doing; reading a book, listening to the radio, being a mum, or working, I seem to find references to mental health everywhere. Some of the stories I see or hear about help combat the stigma associated with mental health; others are good news stories about new ways of promoting good mental health or helping people with mental health problems. Some stories and experiences make me think about mental health in a different way and challenge my assumptions and stereotypes. Other stories are appalling stories of how people with mental health problems have been treated that make me feel sad and angry. However, all of these stories and experiences get me thinking. If they get me thinking, they might get you thinking and if, like me, you quite like thinking, then you might quite like this blog.
